The Dadaepo Sunset Fountain of Dream - named March by the Guinness Book of Records as the largest flat fountain in the world ? has become the pride and joy of the city.

Encompassing a total of 2,519 square meters on the ground, this massive attraction shoots water up to 55 meters high via 1,046 spouts. It also has 27 small fountains and is illuminated by 1,148 LED lights. 

The combination of water and light makes for a dazzling spectacle nearly every night. Throw in some music in a variety of genres, and the Dadaepo Sunset Fountain of Dream makes for a perfect evening destination to beat back the heat.

In the afternoons, the main draw is the “experience fountain” show, a 20-minute extravaganza held at 2, 3 and 4 p.m. It’s also followed by a night fountain show that incorporates music, providing a great venue for families and an ideal spot to cool off for those who are brave enough to step into the water sprays.

And starting this year, there’s a “sunset experience fountain” show that aims to enhance the beauty of the sky as the sun goes down, offering visitors a great photo opportunity. For those who get wet, there are two heat fans to dry your clothes and hair.

Starting this month, the site also holds a “water rock concert” at 6 p.m. on the weekends featuring jazz, classical, fusion, traditional music and show tunes.
